Mrs. Eusebia Jimenez, 74, died this morning at Val Verde Memorial Hospital. She resided at 406 W. Martin St and will be buried in Saltillo, Mexico after rites in San Jose. Survivors include three daughters and siblings. Mrs. Felicitas Ruiz, 87, former Del Rio resident, died Monday in San Jose. Rites in Oak Hill a San Jose, burial there. Survivors include daughters and sons, 39 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren, and 18 great great-grandchildren.

The National Weather Service forecasts a 30 percent chance of rain Thursday, up from 20 percent tonight. Expect partly cloudy skies today, then Cloudy and cooler Thursday with highs in the upper 70s and southeast winds 10 to 20 mph. Lake Amistad faces wind advisories today as records show a Tuesday high of 80 and Oct 27 all time highs and lows. The extended forecast calls for thundershowers Friday in Southeast Texas, then cooler conditions into the weekend. West Texas warms gradually Friday through Sunday with highs mid 60s to upper 70s and overnight lows 30s to 50s. Amistad water levels show 1112.71 feet elevation, 212.71 feet dam depth, 3,112,776 acre feet storage, and 61,561 acres water surface. Downstream flow remains 1,340 cfs.
