Del Rio to host third Halloween candy giveaway at Star Park

Clyde Lantrip Revisits Fort Clark at 92 With Nephew
The Edgewood resident recalls life at Fort Clark Army Post in the early 1930s. Born 1912, Lantrip served from 1931 to 1935 as a 1st Class Specialist and chef with B Troop, 5th Cavalry. He fondly describes dances at the officers club, his horse Freckles, and riding a Harley on days off.
