Powerful Lady Cougars dominate Del Rio in district clash
Clark Lady Cougars, 10-1 in District 27-5A, swept Del Rio Queens 25-15 25-11 25-10 as Kimberly Kellmann powered the offense with a five point run in set two. Del Rio’s Maria Guevara Bailey and Smith led late rallies but could not stop the visitors. Junior varsity won 25-10 25-22 and ninth grade fell 25-12 25-12. Brackett Tigerettes beat Comstock 3-0 with Castillo Simmons Meyer and Smith contributing.
