Feast of Sharing set goals for dignity and volunteer support
Eddie Ochoa, H E B No 2 store director on Veterans Boulevard, urged attendees at the Feast of Sharing to give their best this year. An org chart with Lori Venegas as chair was drawn, volunteers were sought, youth volunteers welcomed with a sponsor present, and calls were issued to join as drivers or general helpers. Phone lines will allow out-of-town relatives to call, with Sprint supplying ten phones under Tony Saldana’s supervision, in the Mesquite Room of the Del Rio Civic Center, from noon with no time limit on calls.
