Del Rio Parks Seeks Teams as Fall Softball and Events Open
The Parks and Recreation Department announces 2005 Fall Men’s Softball league registration due by Friday October 14 at 201 Avenue P. A Coed volleyball tourney is set for October 15 at Hogan Park with a $50 entry fee and first place T shirts. Also flag football registrations extended to October 15 and needs coaches and players ages 6 8 and 9 11 at 201 Avenue P. A 10K Fiesta de La Amistad race registration is October 16, race starts 9 am. Del Rio High tennis parents meet October 17 at Mr. Gatti’s. Del Rio National Little League holds a board meeting November 1 at 6 30 pm at Mr. Gatti’s to nominate 2006 directors. attendees may include managers coaches umpires or prospective board members.

Cardinals ride Sanders homer to 5-3 NLCS win
