Del Rio High rededicates gym and Ram Stadium to Guys and Levermann
The Del Rio HS gym is renamed Carl P. Guys Gymnasium and Ram Stadium becomes Walter D. Levermann Ram Stadium. A lawn ceremony featured Guys and Levermann family members, city and county officials, and the San Felipe Del Rio Consolidated ISD. Speakers praised their legacies in sports and coaching, with Mayor Alcala, Judge Fernandez, and coach Tony Gonzalez sharing remembrances.
