Drug task force nets three more cocaine arrests

Border Patrol seizes over 300K in marijuana. six arrested
U S Border Patrol agents from Eagle Pass seized more than 300000 in marijuana and arrested six suspected drug traffickers in five separate incidents. On May 6 near the Rio Grande six miles west of Eagle Pass officers recovered 117.4 pounds valued at 93920 from three men and later found 114.6 pounds worth 91680 in another area aided by a canine unit. On May 9, agents near the port of entry found five duffel bags along the Rio Grande east of the border as a narcotics canine alerted to the scene.
