Wal-Mart Del Rio opens with celebration and ribbon cutting
The Wal-Mart Supercenter in Del Rio opened with a ceremony led by Mayor Dora G. Alcalé. Store Manager Carlos Sanchez praised the new arrival as economic progress while mariachis, the Yazz Band, AFJROTC color guard, and area dignitaries attended. Customers and associates cheered as checks were presented to 12 local charitable organizations. Inside, features include Smart Styles and other attractions.
