One more arrest in ongoing drug task force operation
Mario Roman, 43, of 607 E. 15th St., was arrested late Tuesday for delivery of heroin as part of a statewide narcotics task force sweep. The operation, led by 63rd Judicial District Narcotics Task Force Commander Jimmie Granato, targeted grand jury indictments and involved federal, state and local agencies. At least 25 suspects were arrested, with one more expected. Roman is detained at Val Verde County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.

Alcala Wins City Mayoral Race and Takes Over
