Garfield takes top honors in UIL Elementary Meet
Garfield Elementary School won first place with 192 points in the city UIL Elementary Literary Meet. North Heights Elementary finished second with 157 points and Ruben Chavira Elementary took third with 121 points. Awards were given at two ceremonies to ease crowds. ribbons were awarded to fourth-place finishers.
