A tornado was reported east of San Angelo with Tom Green County under a tornado warning after the tornadic event near Eola Vancourt. No immediate damage or injuries were reported as storms passed through several West Texas counties on Saturday night.

Meza and Beavan win two at large seats on Val Verde Regional Medical Center board after 7 p.m. polls. Meza, San Felipe Middle School principal, and Beavan, owner of Edwards Graham Insurance Agency, edged a four person field that included Paul Berg and Keith Southerland. Vacancies filled were Ramiro Ramon and Dr Antonio Maeda. Final results released at 10:50 p.m. with ballots from Del Rio Civic Center and other polling sites counted.
