Recall petition signs filed in Del Rio recall effort
Citizens committee filed 276 signatures with City Secretary Sandra Amende to trigger a recall election against City Councilwoman Lisa Cadena Craig. At least 200 must be certified within five days. Committee members Janie Castillo and Pura Salazar delivered 34 petition sheets. Castillo said they gathered all needed signatures but that some voters were not reached.

Drunken bash on Cabernet Way ends in arrests
Eight teenagers and two adults were arrested after a late night party at 112 Cabernet Way. Seven teens faced minor in possession charges while one teen and both adults were charged with public intoxication. Police described a loud music complaint and observed partygoers moving inside as officers approached. Antonio Rodriguez, 18, 105 Hudson Drive, opened the door and said his father was out of the country, hosting a gathering with a few friends.
