Del Rio native Walk Bill Walk 52 was found dead in his Los Angeles home on Wednesday. Rites will be held in Del Rio with Humphreys-Doran Funeral Home handling arrangements to be announced. He was born September 14, 1929, son of Sam H. and unknown mother, a Del Rio High School graduate who owned a flower shop before moving to California. Surviving relatives include brother Sam Walk of Spring Texas, sister Mary Elizabeth Von Rosenberg of Conroe Texas, plus a niece and two nephews.

Two Sonora men die in a highway crash
Louis Beasley aged 29 and Timothy Swaney 22 were killed about 10:30 p.m. Thursday when their car hit a disabled semi truck on SH 10 west of Sonora. The truck’s crew were directing traffic.
