The report links Jimmy Chagra to a 1968 murder-for-hire case involving Hearne grain dealer Sam Degelia Jr. Harrelson, who carried a 15 year sentence, was released on parole in September 1978 after five years served. Police investigated two vandalism incidents with total losses about $170. Texan Employment Commission manager Budie Smith said a BB pellet gun shattered the west window at 409 N Mairi St between 5 pm Tuesday and Wednesday, estimated $130 damage. Andy Abrego said someone threw a steel bail into his pickup bed on South Main near the 200 block around 1:15 pm Wednesday, estimated $40 damage.
