Camper Blaze Damages RV at Amistad Park Campgrounds
Thirteen firefighters from two units responded to a 3 p.m. blaze at Amistad Park Campgrounds on U S Highway 90 W. A North Carolina resident, Glenn Murphy of Otto, owned the recreational vehicle, which was heavily damaged after fire originated in a foam rubber mattress in a sleeping compartment. The flames burned ceilings walls and floor, touching off combustibles stored in the camper. No damage estimate was available this morning.

Del Rio to Remove Downtown Parking Meters
City council during a budget workshop voted to delete the parking meter division from the city budget and remove meters from the downtown area. The move cuts 5600 from the interim budget covering April 1 to September 30 1981. Police probe burglary vandalism in Del Rio reports
Del Rio police logged two incidents of vandalism and a burglary totaling more than 1000 dollars. A 500 television was stolen from Lexington Apartments and Motor Inn around 8 30 a m with six young females suspected. A 400 window at Dr George Bauer II s office and 125 in stereo gear stolen from a car were also reported with details.
