Officials Practice Mock Disaster Drill in City
City and county officials participated in a simulated disaster drill at the Police Station this morning in preparation for a three hour exercise set for July 8. Texas A&M University officials led the e exercise in Civil Defense, with the emergency operation center in the squad room and the Corporation Courtroom. Fall seriously injures boy in Fort Duncan Park incident
Amando Palomo seven fell from the back of a pickup truck while watching a baseball game at Ft. Duncan Park. He was taken to Maverick County Memorial Hospital and then transferred to Bexar County Hospital in San Antonio with head injuries. The hospital reports he has improved but remains in critical condition.
