James Owen Taylor II died in San Antonio Texas in 2009 at age sixty nine. He grew up in Del Rio and Val Verde County and served as elder at North Central Christian Church. A CPA and real estate broker he worked for Peat Marwick Mitchell before opening his own practice in San Antonio. He is survived by his wife Gail and two sons Robert and Richard with wives Kirin and Christy. Graveside services were held in Del Rio after a June 2009 visitation and a memorial fund was requested for North Central Christian Church.
Jaime Gomez III graduates from UTSA with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering cum laude. Surrounded by his grandmothers and family at River Haven near New Braunfels, the ceremony marks a weekend retreat and graduation celebration. He will start a Masters in computer programming at Texas A&M University College Station this fall.
A warm birthday message celebrates Jackie Sanchez reaching legal adulthood at 21 with playful notes about freedoms since age 15. The card thanks family and friends Maria DeLaPaz Estevan and siblings, and mothers and fathers, for their love and blessings.

Doris L. Howell age 78 of Del Rio died June 25 2009 at a Del Rio hospital. Funeral services are pending at G W Cox Memorial Funeral Home 114 Fletcher Drive Del Rio TX 775 2000.
Summer band schedule runs June 15 to Aug 24 with tutorials on Mondays and Wednesdays and optional extra days. Camps include Freshman Fundamentals July 13 16 Colorguard July 13 17 Percussion July 20 24 and full band rehearsals July 30 to Aug 17 with after school sessions Aug 18 21 culminating in an evening party. Students must prepare reeds lyre flip folders and band gear and pay shirts shoes wind suit and booster fees.
