High winds up to 76 mph struck Del Rio on Thursday, injuring none but causing damage to La Paloma Village office complex, Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, and nearby properties. City official Najla Wills reported a large metal roof section torn away and hurled across a parking lot, with three roof holes and eight cars impacted. No injuries recorded.
