Five Arrested in City Burglary Sweep Solves Thirteen Cases
Police say five suspects were arrested in a late May burglary probe that solved 13 cases from December 1976 to this week. Det. Lt. Herman Schafer named Hector Manuel Avendano Jr. and a 15-year-old Del Rio youth among the latest arrests for auto burglaries and a motorcycle theft. Also charged are David Flores, 27, and two local youths in connection with the original investigation.
