A one car crash early Friday killed two teens in Del Rio. Acevedo 16 died at 1:30 am from head and internal injuries. Galindo 19 died at 7:05 p.m. after a high speed collision in front of his home. Services for Galindo set at Diaz Funeral Chapel and Our Lady of Guadalupe High Mass. Survived by his mother and two sisters.

About 1,000 National Guard troops patrolled Cincinnati to prevent new racial disturbances but officials said the city had returned to normal and guardsmen could be detached from assignment beginning Monday. Relative calm also returned to Dayton and Lansing as police reported a quiet period amid ongoing tensions in Warren Michigan with threats of renewed demonstrations if police left.

Transport Crash Kills 28 in Vietnam
An American C130 transport plane carrying 49 aboard crashed on takeoff near An Khe in South Vietnam killing 28 and injuring 13 officials said. Fire crews rushed to the base hospital as authorities noted the plane was used to move personnel and supplies in the war effort.
