Airman Attacked With Pool Cue at Local Lounge
Laughlin Air Force Base airman Andy Hell, 21, was treated at a base hospital for head injuries after being struck with a pool cue during a disturbance at a downtown lounge on E Gibbs Street. Sgt. Raymond Haynes said two suspects fled after a disagreement over a game of pool. Hell's condition was listed as good and stable. Police seek two suspects in the incident.

A 24 year old Tucson woman identified as Maria Hourocht, a military dependent, was seriously injured and an unidentified child sustained cuts and abrasions in a traffic crash four miles west of Langtry on U S 80 West. The woman was listed in poor condition at Val Verde Memorial Hospital and the child in good condition. Hospital officials said head injuries were severe and DPS reported Trooper Larry Hill investigated the crash after 4:15 a m with no word on cause or vehicle count. The pair were airlifted to San Antonio today by MLAS helicopter.

Two Plead Guilty To Manslaughter
Two men Delgado Jr and Albright pleaded guilty in 6rd Judicial District Court to involuntary and voluntary manslaughter respectively. Delgado, 26, faced a Dec 7 1975 crash that killed Guadalupe San Miguel, and was ordered to serve 2 to 3 years with a 10 day bond waiver. Albright, 40, received seven years imprisonment after pleading guilty to voluntary manslaughter in the Dec 24 1975 Beatrice Perry death. he was placed on seven years probation after waiving the waiting period. A jury panel was selected in the ongoing session to hear the Orso couple case on third degree assault.
