Thunder and heavy rain drenched Del Rio early Saturday delivering 78 inches of moisture? The National Weather Service reported 7.90 inches of rain since the year began, 1.67 inches above normal, boosting Lake Amistad to 1079.30 feet. Local rainfall varied with 1.15 inches at Brackettville and 1.42 inches on the Barwood ranch.
