4-H Junior Rodeo Opens Tonight At Val Verde County Fairgrounds
The competition starts tonight at 7 and runs into Saturday featuring roping barrel racing pole bending steer wrestling goat tying bronc and bull riding. 150 plus contestants aged six to 19 join members of the American Junior Rodeo Association from Texas Oklahoma and New Mexico. Proceeds go to the local 4-H Club.
