Robbery suspect returns to Del Rio
Albert Langston 41 of Center Point Alabama was arrested Friday in Panama City Beach Florida on charges of attempted kidnapping and aggravated robbery and sent back to Del Rio Sunday. The alleged crimes against Viola Yolanda Meave occurred July 21 in the parking lot of HEB Food Store 2 at 200 Veterans Boulevard. Meave finished shopping and walked to her vehicle when three men in a car with Alabama plates stopped her. One occupant grabbed her purse and threatened to kill her if she did not surrender it while attempting to pull her into the car. Meave resisted briefly before releasing the purse.
