Air Amistad 2000 to feature Thunderbirds at Laughlin
Laughlin Air Force Base hosts Air Amistad 2000 on Oct. 8 with the USAF Thunderbirds returning to perform. The all day free event opens at 9 a.m. and invites the public to view aircraft up close, climb aboard select planes, and meet pilots and crews. In addition to the Thunderbirds, a Korean War era mock dogfight and the Army Golden Knights parachute team are on the program alongside demonstrations by base units.
