5K Run Benefits Grace Church Youth Group in Val Verde
About $800 was raised at the Bodyshapers 5K Walk Run on Saturday July 1 to support the Soldiers for Christ Youth Group of Grace Community Church. Sponsors included Bodyshapers Jacinto Chevrolet JenFit Rio Vista and H E B with one mile water stations on a 3.2 mile loop starting and ending at Bodyshapers. Winners were awarded trophies or ribbons with shirts given to all entrants and a July list of age and gender category champions. The event featured a 10K Turkey Trot planned for November and drew roughly 30 participants.
