The district reports receiving 1,487,895 in federal special education funds split into IDEA B Formula Preschool and capacity building grants. The majority 968,888 funds payroll for roles including program director and teachers while other federal funds plus state grants will broaden services and staff training.

Voters cited reform delays and gridlock as Fox calls for dialogue while opposition groups push on tax energy and labor reform.
In Grapevine Texas three people died and three were injured when an SUV headed south in a northbound lane with lights off struck a oncoming car about 9 p m Sunday on Texas 360. Victims are William Hemel 27 Britany Hemel 4 and Amos Brown 54. Injured occupants in a second car were treated for minor injuries. Investigators have not determined why Hemel drove the wrong way.
A 56 year old man Billy Haynes and his five year old twin grandsons Cleo and Mickey Harvey were injured when a 1892 built covered bridge over Evans Creek in Wimer Oregon collapsed Sunday afternoon. All were taken to Rogue Valley Medical Center in Medford. The three victims and witnesses described a sharp cracking sound before the roof and structure gave way. The bridge, carrying a three ton limit, had no vehicles on it at the time. Cleo underwent surgery, Mickey was treated and released, and Haynes remained in critical condition in ICU. one person was cited for attempting to take shingles from the wrecked bridge.
