Second large cocaine seizure at Eagle Pass Port
U S Customs inspectors seized more than 3.6 million dollars worth of cocaine in a Friday night interception at Eagle Pass Bridge II, arresting 33 year old Maria Guadalupe Jimenez of Eagle Pass as 80 pounds of cocaine were found behind the rear seat of a 1998 Chevy S 10 pickup. A prior 32 pound seizure occurred Thursday at Bridge with 29 year old Oscar Raul De Leon Gonzalez of Sabinas Mexico as the driver of a 1992 Chevy pickup. Both cases were turned over to Customs special agents for federal prosecution.
