Wall Street stocks fell in morning trading in New York. At 11 a.m. the Dow Jones average stood at 1,916.48, down 13.92 points as decliners outpaced gainers by 12 to 5 with 889 issues down, 348 up and 495 unchanged. Volume reached 29 million shares on the NYSE as the market neared year end.

Juana Mojica 71 died Saturday at Val Verde Memorial Hospital. Rites Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic with burial at Oak Lawn Memorial Park. Survivors include sons Pablo Antonio Ricardo and Felix Mojica and brothers Ray Gonzalo Susana all in California. Jose Juarez 63 funeral today at Our Lady of Guadalupe with burial at San Felipe Cemetery. Rosary Sunday evening. survivors include sons Jose Maria Idefon Gonzalo Moya and daughters Sylvia Leticia Jo Linda, a brother Antonio and sister Natividad.
