Port of entry detects marijuana in vehicle tire
A 24 year old Del Rio man, Jose Reyna, was released on bond after U S Customs inspectors found 32 5 pounds of marijuana inside the spare tire of a pickup at the Del Rio Port of Entry. A second suspect, Jorge Luis Gonzalez Flores, faces federal drug smuggling charges for 67 2 pounds hidden in a gas tank and rear panels. The seizures support Operation Hardline at border ports to curb illegal drug flow.
