A Christmas holiday turned tragic for Mr and Mrs Jesus G Salazar of 304 Minjares St as their 18 year old son Rene Javier Salazar was killed in Vietnam. The Salazars two other sons also serve in the US Armed Forces and Rene was due home in January. He will be buried with full military honors after arrival in 10 to 14 days.
