Community mobilizes for teen stabbing victim’s funeral
Del Rio residents rally to aid the family of 14 year old Alvaro Fabela who was fatally stabbed. An anonymous donor paid the funeral costs allowing the service at Sunset Memorial Oaks Chapel of Remembrance. Local Lions Club members, the American Legion Post 595 and other groups organized groceries and a post funeral reception to support the grieving family.
