Del Rio Queens swept the Laredo United Lady Longhorns across all squads as varsity earns a 2-0 district start. Local Narcotics Task Force seized 660 pounds of cocaine at a Normandy farmhouse and 526 pounds at a Del Rio mobile home, with four men arrested and valued over 4 million dollars.
