Repairs blamed for fatal cargo plane crash
An official for Sekman Aviation says he told the aircraft owners the day before the crash that required repairs had not been completed. The cargo plane crashed near a Miami airport after takeoff with 21,000 pounds of Christmas trees, killing ten people including three crew members and five residents. Federal agents and the FBI sought to interview the plane’s owner through the National Transportation Safety Board investigation.
