Jesus Loves You Church Food Bank Feeds Needy in Three Months
The Food Bank at 200 E Bowie opened in October and feeds growing numbers daily. It served 394 people in November and saw 66 visitors in one day before closing at noon. Donations total 450 dollars, all for feeding the needy, with eight to ten volunteers staffing Monday and Friday hours 9 am to noon. The program sometimes delivers to homes and often gets referrals from visiting nurses.
