Ancient finds on Del Rio golf course dig span 1000 years
San Felipe Springs excavation on the sixth fairway reveals layered occupation at the golf course site. Archaeologists from Prewitt and Associates have recovered nearly 3000 artifacts with expectations of about 5000 more, dating from 1000 to 2000 years ago and including flint flakes and primitive tool points.
