The Amistad Singers present Merry Christmas, Once Again at Paul Pong Theatre for the performing arts. Curtain is 8 p.m. Saturday and 4 p.m. Sunday. Tickets cost 3 dollars adults and 1.50 dollars students, available at the door, Firehouse, Simply Beautiful, or from choir members.
The American GI Forum chapter near 411 E Morin St corrected a Thursday De Rio News-Herald report. The Remember Pearl Harbor services were held at its headquarters and not at Laughlin Air Force Base. An editing error prompted the correction and apologies were issued.
