Autopsy Transportation Costs Set At 500 In Del Rio Plan
Val Verde County Commissioners Court approved a 500 per autopsy transportation fee to transport bodies to San Antonio for autopsies and return them to Del Rio, rejecting two higher bids from Del Rio Funeral Home and Robles Mortuary. The decision follows hearsay from local funeral homes and notes the county’s total FY costs for autopsies and transportation. The court also awarded a 546,999 paving bid, approved county holidays for 2004, and transferred birth certificate records to Del Rio.
