Del Rio native Maj Thomas D Moore Jr 38 died in a U S Air Force transport crash near Saigon on November 30 His widow Barbara Moore in Colorado Springs was notified His body will be returned for burial He had two tours as an Air Force Academy instructor after Naval Academy graduation and is survived by his wife three children his parents a sister and an array of relatives nationwide.
Robuck Daughtrey of 409 Pulliam has heard nothing from Capt. Robert Norlan Daughtrey since his F-105 was shot down over North Vietnam on August 2 1965. His last letter dated December 17 1965 arrived in January 1966. Daughtrey has written officials and Congressman Fisher seeking any word while keeping the family’s location secret to avoid harassment.
