Rodent Control Program Begins in Del Rio
Health Department officials lead a teaching rodent control program in Del Rio as part of a community health effort for low income residents. Gregorio Pina Jr of Texas A and M Extension Service teams with the U S Department of Interior and Aurelio Laing to run the program now in its sixth year. Low income homes will receive anticoagulant rodent bait mixed with cereal grain and sugar, applied to control rats and mice when properly placed.
