Del Rio OKs Grant Push for Field of Dreams Complex
Del Rio City Council approved pursuing a Texas Parks and Wildlife grant to fund half of the Field of Dreams sports complex. The $1.2 million project would add practice and game fields and walking trails on Crawford Fields land with Buena Vista Development Corp donated property. Final funding relies on an additional $800,000 from city and donors, with commitments already announced by Texas Community Bank and others.
