Del Rio Airport Eyes Return of Commercial Flights
Del Rio International Airport officials remain unsure if commercial service will return by the original date or November. Airport manager Juan Onofre Onofre said Public Charters CEO Jim Gallagher is optimistic while still finalizing aircraft access with Corporate Flight Management in Victoria. A Victoria origin flight to Dallas six days a week could carry Texas Sky travelers to Austin, boosting Del Rio’s seats and finances, as Gallagher also pursues an inter-airline deal with American Airlines.
