Border Patrol Academy to be located in Artesia New Mexico
CBP Commissioner Robert C Bonner announced the Border Patrol Academy will consolidate at a state of the art facility in Artesia New Mexico hosted by FLETC. The 19 week training covers anti-terrorism immigration drug laws firearms Spanish and more for about 11000 agents. The Artesia site mirrors the Southwest border with high migration and smuggling activity.
