Judge approves interim Texas voter ID plan after ruling
A federal judge sanctioned an interim voting plan in Texas after the 5th Circuit found the 2011 Voter ID law discriminatory under the Voting Rights Act. Beginning 2013, plaintiffs challenged bias while Pete Gallego urged preparedness ahead of Election Day. Texas permits seven ID forms, including a driver's license and state ID card.
