More than 50 volunteers canvassed Del Rio streets after a Ramada Inn breakfast as the Chamber’s membership drive aimed to recruit 100 new members per two person team. By noon 40 memberships were signed, with $12,000 annual support projected to boost industry and tourism. Dorothy Haney of Lamesa praised chamber sales as adding talent and labor.

Bethel Institute Names Financial Administrator
