Del Rio officer reassigned amid assault investigation
A Del Rio Police Department detective is reassigned from the criminal investigations division to other duties while investigators review allegations that he slammed a woman into a wall during a July argument. The woman, identified as Karrie, reported injuries and sought medical treatment. a protective order was filed August 1.
