City keeps tax rate at 47 cents per $100 valuation
Del Rio City Council unanimously approved a public hearing on the Fiscal Year 2003-2004 tax rate. The staff recommended 47 cents per $100 of valuation, the same as last year, with the rate expected to raise about $187,000 more due to higher property values. The effective tax rate and average home values rose, while no funding for an economic development coordinator was added.
