Regional Teacher of the Year honor for San Felipe educator
Cindy Dunlap, a Buena Vista Elementary third grade teacher with the San Felipe Del Rio Consolidated Independent School District, was named Region XV Elementary Teacher of the Year and advances to state semifinals. She started in the district in the 1990s after switching to education and earned her degree from Sul Ross State University in 1995.
