Scarbo Files Grievance Over ROTC Pay Cuts
Retired Master Sgt. David Scarbo has filed a grievance against the San Felipe Del Rio Consolidated Independent School District after a district decision reduced ROTC instructors’ stipends by at least $10,000. The move lowered Scarbo’s pay from 55,191 to 39,850 for the 2004 2005 year, with attorney Tiger Hanner stating the remedy would reinstate the stipend for all ROTC instructors and restore hours and activities for cadets.
