Del Rio voters to decide on police collective bargaining
Del Rio voters may weigh a November ballot measure on allowing the police to bargain as a group over pay benefits and working conditions. DRPOA filed the petition with City Secretary Susan Corp on July 30 claiming 948 signatures. Corp will verify signatures by Aug. 19 before a council resolution sets the election for Nov. 2026.
